Lake Las Vegas | A beautiful village for Residents and Tourists
Lake Las Vegas is a beautiful area within the Las Vegas area. The first time I came here to visit, I fell in love with this place right away. Of course I love water, and I'm sure that plays a huge role in me liking this area. Aside from the water, the residences in this area are breath taking. From the Condos, to the gated communities, to the custom lots with boat docks, this place is a dream for anyone to live in. Lake Las Vegas village has restaurants, bars, and even a small grocery store that you can access. There used to be Casino in here too, however it is not in operation at the moment. A lot of visitors come here too, whether its the Westin or Hilton. They have a golf course, and other amenities for you to enjoy, and it seems to be growing constantly. At the Village area they have a yacht, jet skis, paddle boats, rowing, and even a new Aqua Park that is open now!
Lake Las Vegas has 2 golf courses. Reflection Bay and South Shore Country Club, both of which are Jack Nicklaus' sigature courses. South Shore Country Club is actually Nevada's first Jack Nicklaus signature course.
So how can anyone afford to live here? Ok, luckily not all the home here are multi million dollar + homes. There are condos and town homes within this community ( Not waterfront of course ) that are in the 200k range too. And of course on the flip side, there are homes with boat docks and custom built that are in the millions range. World famous singer Celine Dion actually lives here too.
Of course I am not a expert in real estate, or in high end businesses, but I really think this area needs a Casino back in operation here to get the tourists back here. There are 2 major hotels, lots of other entertainment, but no Casino. I think it makes it worse to see the Casino that used to be here, just not in op. Nonetheless, I really hope to live here one day. Maybe not permanently, but at least for a few years to experience the life here. We always have our eyes open to see the going rates for the residences here. A lot of times, the HOA is really high here.....which is the same case with Palms or MGM residences.
