Ok, it is that time of the year again! What started as a Ford Country fantasy football leaugue, is now more of a private leaugue of former employees, and more of a friends that kept in touch / is still sort of in the industry leauge...lol
Last year came pretty close, and was a tight race until the end.
Just to recap, Shadow Ninja (Mike Lints) took 1st place finally. Mike seems to have a killer record every year and lost....but last year had a bad record and took 1st place! 2nd place was B's Team (Beto Salas), who I think got some kind of prize every year! Paul's Haul (Paul Hughes) took 3rd, but look at how many points he scored last year! I took 4th, Deadly Force Squad (Ezzy Rajabi) took 5th, and Team Wuhan Variants (Matthew Hee) took last place.
This year we are shooting for 8 spots. I know Jim Krauss, and Page Krautner showed interest in playing this year so I will send them invites. A few more invites will be sent out to people who have played in our league before like Ray, Farin, Omar, etc....
The Buy In will be $100 like usual. The Prize structure will be decided on as a group again once we figure out how many people are playing for sure.
I know we are all super busy, and have crazy schedules, but I am hoping we can all meet up for the draft this year? I know last year a few of us met at a bar and had some drinks/food...shot some pool etc....
And as usual for the people that did play last year, if you have any suggestions on changes you would like this year......money, pts....anything you can think of, please let me know!!
